Holiday Madness Contest – Rules and Regulations

 Holiday Madness Contest 

  1. The Holiday Madness Contest runs from 9 am EST on November 14, 2011 to 12 noon EST on December 27, 2011 respectively (excluding December 26th).
  2. No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the Holiday Madness Contest.
  3. To enter the Holiday Madness Contest, go to and complete full contact information including name, address, e-mail, and contact phone number and agree to contest Rules and Regulations. You will then be entered into the Holiday Madness Contest on Entries must be submitted no later than the end of the Entry Period; entry periods vary depending on prizing and the entrants’ place of residence. ONLY ONE ENTRY PER DAY PER IP ADDRESS.
  4. The selected entrant will be notified by email or by phone within two (2) days of the Draw Date at the phone number or email indicated on their entry. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within two (2) days, the Entry is null and void and another entrant will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entrants.
  5. Holiday Madness Contest Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Competition including any damage to an entrant’s entry. All decisions of Holiday Madness Contest Sponsors are final in all matters as they relate to this Holiday Madness Contest.
  6. THE PRIZES: Prizes will be offered on varying dates during the contest duration from their respective sponsor (brand) and may be substituted for any reason and without notice by Youthculture or the affiliated sponsors of this contest. Prizes are not exchangeable. Please allow 6-8 weeks for prize delivery.
  7. THE DRAW: The Draw Dates at the head office of Youthculture, located at 651 Queen St. East, Toronto, Ontario, M4M 1G4 will be held each weekday during the contest period when prizing is highlighted online at The number of Entries will depend specifically on each day’s prizing amounts, which vary from day to day and brand to brand. These entries will be randomly selected from among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.
  8. In order to be a selected the winner of the Holiday Madness Contest, you must, within 2 (two) days of being contacted, complete and return to the Sponsors a Contest Consent form confirming compliance with these rules and regulations (the “Holiday Madness Contest Rules”), releasing the Sponsors and their respective directors, officers and agents from all liability and, except where prohibited by law, permitting the Sponsors to use the selected entrant’s name, address (city and province) and image, without compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsors. If the selected entrant is under the age of majority, the Contest Consent form must be signed and submitted by his or her parent or legal guardian. Youthculture has the sole authority and discretion to determine whether a Contest Consent form has been properly executed and has the sole authority and discretion to accept or refuse a Contest Consent form that has not been properly executed.
  9. No correspondence will be entered into, except with selected entrants.
  10. Youthculture, , and the participating brands of this contest (together, the “Sponsors”), their affiliates, franchisees and each of their directors, officers, employees and agents are not in any way responsible for any lost, misplaced, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or undelivered Entries.
  11. In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an online Entry, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account.
  12. The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the total number of eligible Entries received.
  13. Candidates between the ages of thirteen (13) and twenty-four (24) who are residents of Canada, excluding the province of Quebec, are eligible for selection in the Holiday Madness Contest.
  14. Candidate’s entries are not accepted if they are employees of, or members of the immediate family of, or persons domiciled with an employee of Holiday Madness Contest Sponsors, their agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions and promotional agencies, are ineligible. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. If the winner of the Contest is under the age of majority, the Prize must be accepted by his or her parent or legal guardian.
  15. The Holiday Madness Contest is subject to the applicable legislation and regulations of Canada and the relevant province(s) or territory (territories) and is void where prohibited.
  16. All decisions of the Holiday Madness Contest Sponsors are final and cannot be reviewed or in any way appealed. Awards to successful Candidates have no cash surrender value. Holiday Madness Contest Sponsors reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions for all or any portion of the prizes.
  17. Holiday Madness Contest Sponsors reserve the right to withdraw, amend, terminate or suspend in whole or in part this Holiday Madness Contest at any time without prior notice and without liability.
  18. By completing the Entry Form, consent is given to the collection, use and distribution of the personal information disclosed, by the Contest Sponsors for the purposes of running the Contest (information is stored for approximately 1 year). Contest Sponsors will not sell or transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of administering the Contest. Any inquiry concerning the personal information held by the Contest Sponsors should be addressed to the Contests Sponsors.
  19. The following definitions apply throughout Holiday Madness Contest Rules. Where words are defined in the singular, the plural of that word has a comparable meaning; where words are defined in the plural, the singular form of that word has a comparable meaning. The possessive form of a word also has a comparable meaning to that word.
    • “Application Form”, or “Application” means the form completed and submitted to Youthculture at 651 Queen St. East. Toronto, ON M4M 1G4
    • “Candidate” means the person whose name and applicable personal information are entered on a Application Form and “Successful Candidate” means a Candidate who has been chosen to be a Contest Winner;
    • “Competition or Promotion or Contest Sponsor” means Youthculture Inc., its publications and the media and promotional partners of Youthculture Inc., and each of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees and agents.
