ÒWin a Nair BasketÓ Contest
1.
The ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest runs from April 24th
,2008 to May 16th, 2008 respectively. Applications submitted will be
kept by the ÒWin a Nair basketÓ
Contest.
2.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest
3.
To enter the Contest, sign
up for the contest on www.vervegirl.com.
4.
All Entries must be submitted no later than the end of the
Entry Period; entry periods vary depending on prizing and the entrantsÕ place
of residence.
5.
Entries will only be accepted by signing up to Vervegirl.com.
All entries must be complete; including full mailing address, first and last
names and email address. Any missing aforementioned elements will result in a
void entry.
6.
The selected entrant will be notified by email or by phone within
two (2) days of the Draw Date at the
phone number indicated with their drawing entry. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within two
(2) days, the Entry is null and void and
another entrant will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entrants.
7.
Before a selected entrant is declared the winner of the
Contest, he or she must answer a time limited, mathematical skill-testing
question to be administered by telephone at a mutually convenient time. If the selected entrant's telephone
number is not on file, a Youth Culture representative will request it via email
at time the selected entrant is notified that he or she was selected in the
Contest draw.
8.
All Application Drawings become the property of the ÒWin
a Nair basketÓ Contest. Sponsors
assume no responsibility for incorrect or inaccurate capture of application
information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, lost via Canada
Post or any combination thereof.
9.
ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any
errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Competition
including any damage to an entrantÕs entry. All SponsorsÕ decisions of
the ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest are final in all matters as they relate to this ÒWin a
Nair basketÓ Contest.
THE PRIZES: The winning entry
who signs up for this contest on vervegirl.com between April 24th, 2008 and
May 16th , 2008 will be awarded a Nair basket, with approximate value of $140. The
winner will be randomly chosen for the prize.
10.
THE DRAW: On or
around May 16th, 2008, the Draw Date, at the
head office of Youth Culture Group, located at 245-401 Richmond Street West,
Toronto, Ontario, one Entry will be randomly selected from among all eligible
Entries received during the Entry Period.
11.
In order to be a selected the winner of the ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest, he or she must, within 7 (seven) days of being
contacted, complete and return to the Sponsors a contest eligibility and
liability/publicity release (a ÒWaiver of Liability FormÓ) confirming
compliance with these rules and regulations (the ÒÒWin a Nair
basketÓ Contest RulesÓ), releasing the
Sponsors and their respective directors, officers and agents from all liability
and, except where prohibited by law, permitting the Sponsors to use the
selected entrantÕs name, address (city and province) and image, without
compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now
known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any
publicity carried out by the Sponsors.
If the selected entrant is under the age of majority, the Waiver of
Liability Form must be signed and submitted by his or her parent or legal
guardian. Youth Culture Group has
the sole authority and discretion to determine whether a Waiver of Liability
Form has been properly executed and has the sole authority and discretion to
accept or refuse a Waiver of Liability Form that has not been properly
executed.
12.
No correspondence will be entered into, except with selected
entrants.
13.
Youth Culture Group, www.vervegirl.com , and Nair (together,
the ÒSponsorsÓ), their affiliates, franchisees and each of their directors,
officers, employees and agents are not in any way responsible for any lost,
misplaced, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or undelivered Entries.
14.
In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an on-line
Entry, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account.
15. The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the total number of eligible Entries received.
16.
Candidates between the ages of thirteen to nineteen (13-19) who are residents of Canada (excluding
residents of Quebec), are eligible for selection in the
ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest.
17.
CandidateÕs entries are not accepted if they are employees of, or members of the immediate
family of, or persons domiciled with an employee of the ÒWin a Nair
basketÓ Contest. Sponsors, their agents, parent, affiliated or
related companies, subsidiaries, divisions and promotional agencies, are
ineligible. Proof of identification must be provided upon request. If the
winner of the Contest is under the age of majority, the Prize must be accepted
by his or her parent or legal guardian.
18.
The ÒWin a Nair
basketÓ Contest is subject to the
applicable legislation and regulations of Canada and the relevant province(s)
or territory (territories) and is void where prohibited.
19.
All decisions of the ÒWin
a Nair basketÓ Contest judges are
final and cannot be reviewed or in any way appealed. Awards to successful
Candidates have no cash surrender value. The ÒWin
a Nair basketÓ Contest Sponsors
reserve the right to make reasonable substitutions for all or any portion of
the prize.
20.
The ÒWin a Nair
basketÓ Contest Sponsors reserve the
right to withdraw, amend, terminate or suspend in whole or in part this ÒWin
a Nair basketÓ Contest at any time
without prior notice and without liability.
21.
By completing the Application Form, consent is given to the
collection, use and distribution of the personal information disclosed, by the
Competition Sponsors for the purposes of running the Competition (information
is stored for approximately 1 year). Competition Sponsors will not sell or
transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of
administering the Competition. Any inquiry concerning the personal information
held by the Competition Sponsors should be addressed to the Competition
Sponsors.
22.
The following definitions apply throughout the ÒWin a Nair basketÓ Contest Rules. Where words are defined in the singular, the
plural of that word has a comparable meaning; where words are defined in the
plural, the singular form of that word has a comparable meaning. The possessive
form of a word also has a comparable meaning to that word.
(a) "Application Form", or "Application" means the form completed
and submitted to Youth Culture at 401 Richmond St.W. suite 245, Toronto,
Ontario, M5V 1XC
(b) ÒCandidateÓ means the person whose name and applicable personal information
are entered on a Application Form and "Successful Candidate" means a
Candidate who has been chosen to be a Contest Winner;
(c) "Competition or Promotion or Contest Sponsor" means Youth Culture
Inc., its publications and the media and promotional partners of Youth Culture
Inc., and each of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees
and agents.
