The March Break Calendar Contest
1.
The March Break Calendar Contest runs from March 3, 2008 to March 31, 2008 respectively. Applications submitted will be kept by
the March Break Calendar Contest
Sponsors for judging purposes until the March Break Calendar Contest Closing Date; contest closes on April 1, 2008,
12:00 pm EST.
2.
No purchase or payment is necessary to enter the March
Break Calendar Contest.
3.
To enter the March Break Calendar Contest, sign up to receive the Vervegirl Daily
e-newsletter on www.vervegirl.com
(Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver or a combination of the three). You will then
be automatically entered into the March Break Calendar Contest on www.vervegirl.com. If you are not a member,
the option to sign up for The Vervegirl Daily is located at the bottom of the
sign up to vervegirl.com. If you are currently a member of vervegirl.com and
already receive the Daily (one, two or all three), you are automatically
entered to win each day in the Month of March for this specific contest. If you
are a member of vervegirl.com but are not subscribed to the Vervegirl Daily,
you may do so by clicking onto Òedit profileÓ. Click onto the Daily you would
like to get and save your changes
(Toronto, Montreal or Vancouver or a combination of the three) and you will be
entered into the March Break Calendar Contest. Failing to save your
changes will mean you are not signed up to the Daily and hence, not entered in
this contest.
4.
All Entries must be submitted no later than the end of the
Entry Period; entry periods vary depending on prizing and the entrantsÕ place
of residence.
5.
Entries will only be accepted by signing up onto
Vervegirl.com. All entries must be complete; including full mailing address,
first and last names and email address and other profile requirements. Any
missing aforementioned elements will result in a void entry.
6.
The selected entrant will be notified by email or by phone within
seven (7) days of the Draw Date at the
phone number indicated with their drawing entry. If a selected entrant cannot be contacted within seven
(7) days, the Entry is null and void and
another entrant will be randomly selected from the remaining eligible entrants.
Original selected entrants will be posted on The March Break Calendar on
vervegirl.com each day. A selected entrant has approximately seven (7)
days to claim their prize before it
becomes null and void and another entrant is selected.
7.
March Break Calendar Contest Sponsors shall not be held responsible for any
errors or negligence that may arise or occur in connection with the Competition
including any damage to an entrantÕs entry. All decisions of the March
Break Calendar Contest Sponsors
are final in all matters as they relate to this March Break Calendar Contest.

dates in March from their respective sponsor (brand) and may be substituted for
any reason and without notice by Youth Culture or the affiliated sponsors of
this contest. Prizes are not
exchangeable.

THE DRAW: The
Draw Dates, at the head office of Youth Culture
Group, located at 245-401 Richmond Street West, Toronto, Ontario, will be each
day in March (excluding Saturdays and Sundays) when prizing is highlighted on
the March Break Calendar on vervegirl.com and in the February 2008 Issue of
Vervegirl Magazine. The number of Entries will depend specifically on each
dayÕs prizing amounts, which vary from day to day and brand to brand. These entries will be randomly selected
from among all eligible Entries received during the Entry Period.
9.
In order to be a selected the winner of the March Break Calendar Contest, they must, within 7 (seven) days of being
contacted, complete and return to the Sponsors a contest eligibility and
liability/publicity release (a ÒWaiver of Liability FormÓ) confirming
compliance with these rules and regulations (the ÒMarch Break
Calendar Contest RulesÓ),
releasing the Sponsors and their respective directors, officers and agents from
all liability and, except where prohibited by law, permitting the Sponsors to
use the selected entrantÕs name, address (city and province) and image, without
compensation, worldwide and in perpetuity, in any and all forms of media now
known or hereafter devised, including the Internet, in any publicity carried out by the Sponsors. If the selected entrant is under the
age of majority, the Waiver of Liability Form must be signed and submitted by
his or her parent or legal guardian.
Youth Culture Group has the sole authority and discretion to determine
whether a Waiver of Liability Form has been properly executed and has the sole
authority and discretion to accept or refuse a Waiver of Liability Form that
has not been properly executed.
10.
No correspondence will be entered into, except with selected
entrants.
11.
Youth Culture Group, www.vervegirl.com , and the
aforementioned participating brands in section 9 of these rules and regulations
(together, the ÒSponsorsÓ), their affiliates, franchisees and each of their
directors, officers, employees and agents are not in any way responsible for
any lost, misplaced, destroyed, delayed, misdirected or undelivered Entries.
12.
In the event of a dispute regarding who submitted an on-line
Entry, the Entry will be deemed submitted by the holder of the e-mail account.
13.
The odds of winning the Contest are dependent on the total
number of eligible Entries received.
14.
Candidates over the age of nineteen (19) who have signed up
for Vervegirl Daily and who are
residents of Canada (excluding residents of Quebec), are eligible for selection
in the March Break Calendar Contest
15.
CandidateÕs entries are not accepted if they are employees of,
or members of the immediate family of, or persons domiciled with an employee of
the March Break Calendar Contest Sponsors,
their agents, parent, affiliated or related companies, subsidiaries, divisions
and promotional agencies, are ineligible. Proof of identification must be
provided upon request. If the winner of the Contest is under the age of
majority, the Prize must be accepted by his or her parent or legal guardian.
16.
The March Break Calendar
Contest is subject to the applicable
legislation and regulations of Canada and the relevant province(s) or territory
(territories) and is void where prohibited.
17.
All decisions of the March
Break Calendar Contest Judges are final
and cannot be reviewed or in any way appealed. Awards to successful Candidates
have no cash surrender value. The March
Break Calendar Contest Sponsors reserve
the right to make reasonable substitutions for all or any portion of the prizes.
18.
The March Break Calendar
Contest Sponsors reserve the right to
withdraw, amend, terminate or suspend in whole or in part this March
Break Calendar Contest at any time without
prior notice and without liability.
19.
By completing the Application Form, consent is given to the
collection, use and distribution of the personal information disclosed, by the
Competition Sponsors for the purposes of running the Competition (information
is stored for approximately 1 year). Competition Sponsors will not sell or
transmit this information to third parties except for the purposes of
administering the Competition. Any inquiry concerning the personal information
held by the Competition Sponsors should be addressed to the Competition
Sponsors.
20.
The following definitions apply throughout the March Break Calendar Contest Rules. Where words are defined
in the singular, the plural of that word has a comparable meaning; where words
are defined in the plural, the singular form of that word has a comparable
meaning. The possessive form of a word also has a comparable meaning to that word.
(a) "Application Form", or "Application" means the form completed
and submitted to Youth Culture at 401 Richmond St.W. suite 245, Toronto,
Ontario, M5V 1XC
(b) ÒCandidateÓ means the person whose name and applicable personal information
are entered on a Application Form and "Successful Candidate" means a
Candidate who has been chosen to be a Contest Winner;
(c) "Competition or Promotion or Contest Sponsor" means Youth Culture
Inc., its publications and the media and promotional partners of Youth Culture
Inc., and each of their respective affiliates, directors, officers, employees
and agents.
