More Exam Week Survival Tips

Ever heard the Latin phrase “A sound mind in a sound body”? Don’t forget to take care of your body during exam week madness.

Get enough sleep. Don’t pull all-nighters! Study after school, stop for dinner, continue for an hour or two after that and take some time to rest. An hour before going to bed, do something relaxing, like taking a bubble bath or doing yoga.

Exercise to clear your head and evacuate stress. It works!

Have breakfast and stay hydrated. Forgoing breakfast or your hourly glass of water can cause dehydration which is one of the main causes for splitting headaches – something you can do without during an exam!


Drink coffee in moderation. That double shot latte you have in the morning is good, but don’t consume too much. The caffeine in coffee can make you more alert and awake for an exam or while you’re studying, but too much of this stimulant can make you nervous and irritable. Stick to only 1 or 2 cups a day.
