Recently, VerveGirl was lucky enough to catch up with the very cool Miriam McDonald from Degrassi: The Next Generation, and ask her about her prom/lack thereof. Here's what Miriam had to say:
On prom vs. formal
The bad news is I didn't go to prom, just the after party. The good news is I did go to formal which is the next best thing, right?
On keeping it simple & polished
I wore a very simple little black dress. Most of the time I think less is more. I did the manicure/pedicure thing. It's my favourite indulgence! Pale pink fingers and ruby red toes.
On the joy of the prep
I got ready with friends and blasted Ashlee Simpson (what was I thinking!?) the whole time.
On beauty tricks
My favourite beauty trick is Vaseline on top of my cheek bones or anywhere I want to highlight. It's great because it gives such a natural look. And if in doubt, I add more mascara!
