You’ve been living it up ever since the holidays started, made some excesses, maybe skipped the gym a few times – we know the feeling. Now that 2009 has officially started, it’s time to get back on track and keep those New Years resolutions! Here are a few ideas to make 2009 the best it can be.
You’ve been living it up ever since the holidays started, made some excesses, maybe skipped the gym a few times – we know the feeling. Now that 2009 has officially started, it’s time to get back on track and keep those New Years resolutions! Here are a few ideas to make 2009 the best it can be.

Get in shape. Priority number one should be your health, so make it a point to get at least 30 minutes of exercise every day. If going to the gym is not your thing, jog outside, do yoga or Pilates at home, the possibilities are endless! Already in top shape? Shake things up with a new workout to challenge your muscles. Try indoor rock climbing, swimming or kick-boxing.

Eat well. Whether you want to lose weight or just eat better, here’s a little rule to help you stay on the right track – eat only what your body needs and stay away from processed food. Get your daily portions of fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy and lean protein, and drink a lot of water!

Less talk, more action. Don’t let another year pass without realizing your dreams, take real steps to achieve your goals, whether it’s getting a new job or learning a new language, now’s the time to do it!
