Tally up the number of As, Bs and Cs.
Mostly As = The Dedicated DoerYou like structure and organization. Creating and sticking to your own exercise plan isn’t hard for you, but you may get bored. Try adding a few new workouts to your repertoire. Your take-charge ’tude means you’d probably love mountain biking or kickboxing. And swimming might be just what you need to decompress and find some Zen.
Mostly Bs = The Social SweaterTo you, exercise is a way to socialize, so group classes and team sports are a natural choice. You could organize a group of friends to start your own running group, or join something different, like an ultimate frisbee league. Or, if you spend your time in the gym, create an exercise schedule that means you’ll be there at the same time as your friends.
Mostly Cs = The Thrill SeekerYou’re spontaneous—you work out because you feel like it (and maybe because you love the endorphin rush). You won’t be happy with a set pattern, but you can’t leave everything up to chance, either. Commit to set times for exercise, but leave yourself room for choice when it comes to which workout you’ll do. And try something different to stay motivated.
