L’Aubainerie went on the hunt this winter to find Quebec’s next “it” designer by holding a contest open to last year design students at Cegep Marie-Victorin. Six lucky finalists have already been selected and are showing the fruits of their labour on the contest’s website, but only one of them can win the grand prize of $5000.
Go see their modish designs online and vote for your favourite contestant for a chance to win $500 in L’Aubainerie gift certificates. The budding designer who gets the most votes from the public will win a $500 prize, which will certainly buy a copious amount of fabric to start her or his collection! www.modeacademie.ca
