The ultra straight hair look is always big on the runway and chic in real life. To achieve this sleek look, you’ll need to apply a good straightening and heat-protecting product before blow-drying hair straight and finishing with a ceramic straightening iron.
The ultra straight hair look is always big on the runway and chic in real life. To achieve this sleek look, you’ll need to apply a good straightening and heat-protecting product before blow-drying hair straight and finishing with a ceramic straightening iron.

Start with clean, damp hair. Work in a pea size amount of straightening cream like Kiehl’s Heat-Protective Silk-Straightening Cream ($20).
If you have wavy or curly hair, separate your hair into small sections and commence blow-drying using a large flat brush, pulling hair down instead of up. Then, starting with the lower sections, use a ceramic straightening iron like the Bed Head Light Me Up! by Tigi straightener ($75 at Jean Coutu).

Once you’re done, point your blow-drier down over your head and blow cool air onto your mane to set the look.
