When shopping for concealers or foundation, it's important to chose the right shades. The last thing you want is orange skin so Makeup Pro, Maxi gives us tips on how to avoid an unsightly appearance.
"Many of the inexpensive brands have a lot of pink or orange which you want to avoid". But inexpensive concealers can be just as effective as high end brands, it just takes a little more time to choose the proper hue.
"If you have very dark circles, a slightly pinkish hue will help to cancel them out," advises Maxi.
When it comes to foundations, "mineral foundations are great but they must be applied properly or you may end up looking like a dry lake bed." You should never apply foundation over your entire face. Instead use it strategically to diffuse skin imperfections such as dark shadows or spots. "Makeup is meant to enhance your beauty, not wipe it away."
