For a very boho and messy braid most girls can do the milkmaid braid. Put your hair in a messy bun in a back or in a side ponytail, then take a large chunk of your bangs and begin to braid from the side of one ear to the other. Your hair needs to be at least shoulder length.
For super long and straight hair try putting a few tiny braids throughout to give your hair a more classic look.
If you have short hair you can still sport some braids. Just part your hair in the middle and do to equal small braids on the side. Then clip them in the back for a finished look. The best way to figure out what works for you is to play around with different styles of braids.
