Getting glam has never been easier.
“Glamour makeup should look light and fresh, even when the effect is dramatic,” says makeup artist David Goveia. He knows a thing or two about glamour, having painted the faces of Cameron Diaz, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, as well as Estella Warren. Follow his pro tips for perfect makeup application.
Steal the holiday spotlight
FLAWLESS SKIN Begin with clean, moisturized skin. Use fingers to apply a primer that helps to smooth skin texture, reduce shine and keep makeup in place all day. If you need to conceal blemishes, dark circles, veins, and red or splotchy patches, dot a spot of liquid foundation or concealer only where needed. Leave the rest bare. Set with powder dusted over top.
PARTY POLISH
Vibrant yet soft hues of pinks and mauves create rosebud-like lips and eyes that sparkle.

Eyes: Give lids a stardust touch with Eye Enhancers Shadow in Moonlit Magic. The result is soft, yet bright and dramatic. Line top and bottom lashes with Outlast Smoothwear All-Day Eyeliner in Smoke and coat lashes with Professional Waterproof All-In-One Mascara in Very Black.
Lips: Perfect your pout with Outlast Double Lipshine in Party Pink—a double-ended wand with long wearing shades at one end and a clear glossy topcoat at the other.
Cheeks: Apply Cheekers Blush in Plumberry Glow to the apples of cheeks.

RED HOT
Want instant impact? “A scarlet mouth looks ultra glamourous, but it’s a little more high mainten-ance,” says Goveia. “Still, it’s worth taking the trouble.” The key to this look is to accent one feature—your lips—and keep eyes understated.
MAKEUP Collection: Quo Cosmetics
Lips: Start with a sheer, creamy red like Stay Put Lipstick in Seduction. Goveia used his fingers to tap lipstick on for a casual finish that’s easier to maintain. Dab Lip Gloss in Slip to the center of your pout (not all over) for a fresh shine.
Eyes: Groom brows and shape the arch. Stay Put Cream Eye Colour in Cognac, brushed from lash line to the crease, has a subtle way of making a strong statement. A little goes a long way to make eyes really shine! Add a couple coats of Lengthening Mascara in Black, concen-trating on the outer corners of the lashes, to really open eyes.
Cheeks: Brush Cream Blush in Santorini—a soft neutral-coloured blush over cheeks.
