Start by applying a light dusting of shadow on the lid. (Apply more colour on the crease for a sexy look at night, but be sure not to apply it too high.) Instead of using your regular black eyeliner, choose a liner that matches your shadow colour. Chu suggests a deep blue gel or pencil to complement a bright blue shadow.
