No!No! Hair Removal System, $250.
Claim: This at-home alternative for professional hair removal says it will reduce the density of your hair painlessly by using heat technology to destroy hair follicles.
CG: Sorry Vervegirls. I couldn’t get over the smell of burning hair—the last time was when I stepped too close to some candles and set my hair on fire—and therefore wasn’t diligent enough to see results.
KM: It definitely took patience and skill to master this hair removal system. But if you can spare a few hours every couple days, I say go for it.

Mally Beauty Light Wand Eye Brightener, $26.50.
This eye brightener comes in a silvery-gold shade that compliments all skin tones to draw attention away from dark circles or highlight the brow bone and top lip.
CG: I love to wear gloss so this is a fresh way to emphasize lips by outlining the cupid’s bow.
KM: The soft gold shade is great for a fresh summery look. It brightens up the eyes with minimal makeup.

GoSmile B1 Tooth Whitener, $120.
Claim: Highly effective and easy-to-use tooth whitening system.
CG: I loved the control when applying it in the corners and crevices and the visible results, plus your teeth have that clean, just brushed feeling afterward.
KM: The ampoules allowed for more control over where the product went so I didn’t have any excess irritating my gums. I noticed a
difference after the first use.

Conair Ionic Steam Straightener,
$120.
Claim: Results last longer than the classic hair straightener because of the ion steam feature. Heats up to 202°C and has adjustable heat levels.
CG: I have curly Afro-Carribean hair which I had professionally blow-dried first and then I used this for touchups. It did an okay job, but I think straight hair would see the best results.
KM: The adjustable comb helped spread the hair evenly along the heated plates making it easier to straighten. But I didn’t feel like I got use out of the steam feature.
