Moisturize while skin is still damp
The idea is to bind water to skin by trapping it under a layer of moisturizer. Whether it’s Vaseline or a top of the line product, moisturizing will help keep skin supply, and temporarily reduce the visibility of lines.
Moisturizers with water-binding ‘humectants’ are particularly effective. And be extra careful to moisturize faithfully in winter, when harsh, cold outside air and dry indoor air combine producing skin parching effects.
