PROM BEAUTY TIP - HOW TO:
Start by applying a light concealer over the eye lid. This gives the eye shadow a base and makes a world of difference when applying eyeshadsow. Not only do the colours appear more vibrant, but they last longer on the eyes.
Smudge a dark (preferably black) eye pencil into the lash line. “Don’t make a sharp line,” she advises. “It’s only meant to give depth at the lash line.”
Apply a dark eye colour of your choice from your lash line all the way to the crease (the inner corners of eyes). Next you want to blend out the edges with a brush—blending out the edges so you get a nice, soft look to your smoky eye.
Wipe away any excess shadow that falls on your face with a damp cloth before applying concealer. With a kohl pencil line bottom lash line and finish with two coats of mascara on the top and bottom lashes.
Select a few colours that are closest to your natural skin tone. Next, apply a couple dots of each color on areas of your jaw line (the best place to test). Take a look near a window under natural light. The right shade is one that you can’t see because it blends in so well.
