Christina Ricci keeps her clothes for seven years – so they become fashionable again.

The 31-year-old actress quizzed her stylist on vintage fashions, and after learning how long it took before she would simply look unfashionable, she now has a time limit to hold on to her gowns.

She explained: “I asked my stylist, ‘What’s the rule from when something becomes vintage and not just, like, last season? Seven years, apparently. So seven years later, I’ve brought out my Alaia dresses again.”

Christina had to shoot scenes for her new TV series ‘Pam Am’ wearing just a bikini but the brunette beauty insists she didn’t get too stressed about preparing to expose her figure on camera.

She told Nylon magazine: “In the end, there’s only so much you can do and I’m not going to punish myself because I don’t look like the average person in a bikini.”

The ‘Sleepy Hollow’ actress is making her first foray into television with ‘Pan Am’ but says it is something she has always wanted to do.

She explained: “You know, some of the best writing is on television, and I have to say, I spend most of my time watching TV. For years I’ve been saying I wanted to do television.”
