Jordan Clark is crowned winner of So You Think You Can Dance Canada

So You Think You Can Dance CanadaThe contemporary dancer Jordan Clark is the winner of the fourth season’s So You Think You Can Dance Canada.

1.6 million votes determined that the 19-year old girl from Tottenham, Ontario would win the prize of $100,000 and a Chevrolet Cruze.

We caught up with Jordan right after her big win to see what she had to say about the experience:

Vervegirl: How does it feel to be a winner?
Jordan Clark: I am so excited! I have never won anything in my entire life. I started dancing when I was 5 or 6 years old. I remember being 7 years old saying that I want to be dancer. Dreams come true.

VG: What are your plans with the big prizes of $100,000 and a Chevy Cruze?
JC: I‘m not too sure yet. I kind of want to take a vacation, but I really want to keep dancing. I just don’t want to stop. Maybe I’ll take a date with my bed and watch some movies, but other than that, I have no idea.

VG: What was your favourite performance of the season?
JC: I loved when Joey and I performed the theatre piece, with the popcorn. It showed the goofy side of Joey and I, and that is exactly who we are and what our relationship is. It was fun to show it on stage.

VG: Is it difficult getting into character for some of the dances?
JC: I actually love acting, so it isn’t really difficult at all. My dance teacher really taught me how to perform while dancing.

So You Think You Can Dance Canada - Jordan Clark with Vanessa DullabhVG: What is the one thing you won’t miss about SYTYCD Canada?
JC: Hmm, I really loved every part of it. Maybe the long rehearsals and lack of sleep, but even that was a lot of fun and it made the experience totally worth it! I am so thankful for everything.
