All That I Am or Ever Hope To Be, I Owe To My Mom <3

Mother’s Day is coming up on Sunday, May 13th and in support of all the loving mothers out there, I went to a local school to read a book about Mother’s Day to a kindergarten class. The book was by the Bearenstein Bears and it taught the kids to appreciate everything that moms do for us. Our moms are some of the only people in the world that will be there for us through thick and thin. She takes care of us, she teaches us, she loves us and then lets us go into the world when we’re ready. I found a quote that said “all that I am or ever hope to be, I owe to my mom,” and it’s true.

Our mothers never let us get so far away that we will get lost, yet they keep us close enough to steer us to the right path, while still letting us make our own decisions. This Mothers Day make sure that you let your mom know just how much she is appreciated. Make her breakfast in bed, get her a bouquet of flowers, clean the house or even just be extra polite. For everything she does, make sure she knows how much you love her.

I know with my mom, I would not be half the person I am today without her. She has given my life direction and has always encouraged me to stive for the best.

This Mother’s Day, spend the day with your mom and let her know how much you love her.
